(SBU) On November 17, Robert Sample, Senior Project Leader,
Financial Crimes Division, Finance CANADA reiterated the
GOC's strong desire to ensure G7 countries coordinate
financial sanctions against Iran. Sample reported that he
and his colleagues are aware of the November 6 Treasury
statement highlighted in ref A. As reported in ref C, CANADA
still looks forward to receiving more information about the
USG proposal for a coordinated G7 statement on Iran sanctions.
