and International Trade (DFAIT) Senior Advisor for
Non-proliferation and Disarmament Thomas Gillon expressed
appreciation for reftel response regarding the transfer of
RADARSAT-2 capabilities to the United Arab Emirates. Gillon
remarked that Canada could "work with" the U.S. response, and
said he would contact his counterparts at the State
Department to clarify the issues raised in para 2 of reftel.
