Araldsen asked if it would be possible to have more information on the positive impact that the DEA has had in Bolivia. Bolivia's President Morales will visit Oslo on November 26 and Araldsen would like to be fully informed on the U.S. position on the DEA issue as well as with other concerns the U.S. may have regarding the Morales administration. Post requests Department send detailed points which could be given to the Norwegians to enable them to counter any anti-U.S. statements during Morales' visit to Oslo. WHITNEY
