¶1. (SBU) Poloff delivered reftel talking points and
biographic information to Knut Langeland, Ambassador for
Disarmament affairs. Langeland forwarded the information to
Ole Reistad, one of the directors of the Norwegian Radiation
Protection Agency (NRPA). Reistad said that Norway
wholeheartedly supports the Triay candidacy for President of
the Third Review Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the
Joint Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and
on the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management (Joint
Convention).
