(SBU) In response to reftel, Poloff spoke with Harold
Leffertstra, member of the Norwegian
Pollution Control Authority who attended the most recent IPCC
Plenary. Leffertstra will not
be attending the next plenary and notified Poloff that GON
will get back to us next
week. In the meantime, Leffertstra did state that Norway is
"positive" about Christopher
Fields, while sounding somewhat regretful that there was no
Norwegian candidate for the
position.
