Per reftel, POLOFF demarched First Secretary Panayiotis
Papadopoulos, Multilateral Affairs, Cypriot MFA, on July 9
about India and Jordan becoming partner nations in the Global
Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism (GI). Papadopoulos
said that Cyprus welcomes India and Jordan to the GI. Cyprus
is glad that more countries are joining the GI, making it
larger and more influential. Papadopoulos expressed interest
in signing up for the GI Information Portal (GIIP). POLOFF
will work with Papadopoulos and the GIIP liaison to arrange
access for Papadopoulos.
