domestic designation of IRISL and 18 subsidiaries that
facilitate shipments of military and proliferation-related
cargo destined for Iran's defense industry, including
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Deputy Secretary
(Counterterrorism) Alok Dimri, MEA Joint Secretary (Iran) TCA
Raghavan, MEA Director (Disarmament and International
Security Affairs Division) G. Dharmendra, and Ministry of
Finance (MOF) Director Anand Bajaj. Post will follow up with
the GOI to encourage similar measures be taken at the
earliest against IRISL and its subsidiaries and to urge for
mandatory inspection of IRISL-related cargo in India.
