(SBU) PolOff delivered demarche in ref to the Chadian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs on October 9. Present at the
meeting was Head of Americas Division Oumar Noury Abdelkerim.
Mr. Abdelkerim said he appreciates the Embassy explaining
what AFRICOM is and what AFRICOM will do and looks forward to
continued military-to-military cooperation between the U,S.
and Chad. He also agreed to transmit the message to the
Ministry of Defense.
