1. (U) PolChief delivered reftel demarche points and asked
newly-appoined Ministry of Foreign Affairs Permanent
Secretary (PS),Dr. Patricia Rodgers, for GCOB impressions of
the draft Declaration of Commitment of Port of Spain,
September 2. PS Rodgers did not appear briefed on the summit
or the tentative Summit Implementation Review Group scheduled
for November in Nassau. She referred Post to the relevant
point of contact in the MFA and said she would provide
further comment at a later date.
