due to UNGA-related and other travel by senior-level
officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We will
continue to press for a meeting with an appropriate
interlocutor after the Eid al-Fitr holiday period to present
the request for financial assistance for the Afghan National
Army. Any substantive response will be sent septel.
