(SBU) On February 19, Econoff delivered reftel demarche to
Mahran Yarub Salim al-Barwani, Director of the Anti-Money
Laundering Section, Central Bank of Oman, regarding the
notification issued by the Dubai Financial Services Authority
(DFSA) on the deficiencies of Iran's anti-money laundering
regime. Post also delivered reftel information via
diplomatic note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a
request for its distribution to all relevant Omani government
