to Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA),Deputy Director,
Department of North America, Nikolay Smirnov on March 20,
¶2008. Post also sent a copy of the dip note to Deputy
Finance Minister, Dmitri Pankin, who handles such claims in
the Ministry of Finance (MinFin). Econoff contacted the MFA
on April 2 and was told that they forwarded the dip note to
the Ministry of Finance and were still waiting for a
response. Post will follow up with both the MFA and MinFin.
