On October 24, 2008, Export Control Attach Peter Liston and LES Boris Karasyov conducted the requested post-shipment verification with LIMACO Inc., Boldina Street 94, Tula, Russia. The export control team met with Vladimir Liberman, General Director and Alexey Liberman, Deputy General Director. ¶4. LIMACO Inc., was established in 1992 as a private enterprise. The company has three owners, all Russian. General Director Vladimir Liberman is one of the partners and has a 55% share of the company. LIMACO is one of the first companies on the market to have developed and begin mass production of microwave measuring devices operating at the 90+ GHz frequency band. LIMACO products are fully certified under requirements of the Russian Federation and are produced for civil use. LIMACO's customers include the Russian energy giant Gazprom and several beer breweries. LIMACO does not export their product. ¶5. ECO Liston was given a tour of LIMACO's facilities and was also shown several of the subject commodities that are awaiting assembly into their line of leveling meters and measuring devices. ¶6. The subject commodity is consistent with the subject's business. There are no indications of impropriety and the commodity is being used for the end-use that it was licensed. There are no indications that the subject company is involved in any chemical, biological, nuclear or missile programs. ¶7.
