(S/NF) Summary: In preparation for the upcoming holiday season AmEmbassy Montevideo convened an EAC. In attendance at the EAC were the DCM, RSO, PAO, POL, and MGMT. ¶2. (S/NF) The EAC has no reason to believe there is a terrorist threat to soft targets in Uruguay. EAC will continue to remain vigilant and monitor official channels and the media for any changes in the threat environment. RSO has increased the number of LGF and SDU personnel on the day shift at the chancery from December 15 through January 2. ¶3.
