(SBU) On March 3, Post delivered demarche points on the Maldives'
draft resolution attempting to link climate change and human rights
to Orlando Gomez, Director of the Americas and International
Organization Offices, Mario Barquera Baltodano, Office of the
Americas, and Gregorio Torrez, Office of International Policies, all
with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). At this time, the MFA
has no response. Post will follow-up and report when a formal
Nicaraguan position is available.
