1. (C) On August 27, 2008 we met with Rene Morales, Director
for American Affairs and Jane Mary Rivera from the Nicaraguan
Foreign Ministry regarding the designation of additional
Iranian entities and individuals under E.O. 13382 and
delivered the points and non-paper as instructed per REFTEL.
Morales received the message and non-paper, promising to
relay our specific points to the Foreign Minister, the Middle
East Division and appropriate entities within the GON.
