(S) On January 30, Econoff delivered reftel demarche to Ivo
Pascual Herrera at MFA's Counter-Terrorism Directorate.
Econoff informed Pascual that on or around February 13, the
US planned to submit the names of the reftel Syria-based
terrorist facilitators to the UN 1267 Sanctions Committee.
Pascual agreed to share the names with the relevant law
enforcement authorities and report back on any potential
activities of these individuals in Spain. Likewise, Pascual
agreed to keep the information confidential.
