DCM delivered reftel demarche to Ministry of External
Relations Americas Director Balbina da Silva on September 9.
DCM queried da Silva specifically on Angola's position on a
possible resolution concerning Zimbabwe. Da Silva was
reluctant to comment on the issue, other than to note that FM
Miranda had traveled the same day to Mbabane for a SADC Organ
on Politics, Defense, and Security meeting on Zimbabwe.
