1. (U) On February 1, Emboff delivered reftel points to Teja
Valencic, MFA Minister Plenipotentiary for Division for
International Organizations and Human Security, who stated
that Sandi Curin, Ministry of Interior Undersecretary and
National Coordinator for the Interdepartmental Working Group
for Countering Trafficking in Human Beings will
headSlovenia's delegation to the February 13 - 14 UN.GIFT
Vienna Forum. Also joining the delegation will be Slovenia's
Representative to the United Nations (Vienna),Ambassador
Ernest Petric. Valencic noted that the GOS is still
considering sending representatives from other ministries.
She also stated that Slovenia shares the U.S. interest in
ensuring that the Vienna Forum does not lead to any outcome
document calling for commitments or recommendations to the
U.N.
