(C) On August 5, Emboffs met with Natasa Furlan, MFA Americas Division, to encourage the Government of Slovenia (GOS) to condemn FARC human rights abuses and terrorist acts and to use its good offices to urge governments that provide support to the FARC to take demonstrable steps to terminate all forms of support to the FARC, reftel. Furlan agreed with all of our points, especially our concerns about the growing flow of drugs through Venezuela to Europe, and undertook to pass our points to senior officials when they returned to the MFA.
