(C) On May 8, EmbOff informed Andrej Slapnicar, MFA Security Policy official and EU COTER Chair, of the U.S. intention to request the listing under UNSCR 1267 of the Kuwait-based international Islamic charity Revival of Islamic Heritage Society (RIHS) and all its branches and to convey the request that Slovenia co-sponsor the request. Slapnicar stated that Slovenia would certainly not object to the proposed listing and would act accordingly should the listing be successful. Slapnicar added that he could not provide an answer at this time regarding whether Slovenia could co-sponsor the listing request, but would do so as soon as possible. Slapnicar undertook to share the information about RIHS with all relevant Slovenian agencies and promised to share with us any information about RIHS known to Slovenian officials. COLEMAN
