On October 27, Pol-Econ officer notified Portuguese MFA
International Organizations Deputy Director Pedro Monteiro
that the UN Security Council approved the addition of three
Gulf-based financiers to the sanctions listing, per reftel.
Monteiro did not offer a substantive response, but Portugal
usually implements the UN sanctions quickly and transmits the
information to the appropriate GOP officials.
