1. (SBU): According to the Malawi Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Malawi's delegation to the AU summit is as follows:
Hon. Minister Joyce Banda, MP
Mr. M.B. Mbewe - Principal Secretary
Mr. Guston Mabvuto - Chief of Protocol
Mr. W. Gunda - Deputy Director, Political Affairs
Ms. Imfairenga Chalanda - Protocol Officer
Mr. Abels Mkandawire - Foreign Service Officer

Ms. Regina Kumukumu - Secretary
Mr. Matthew Kafumba - Personal Assistant to Hon.
Minister
2. (SBU): Minister of Foreign Affairs Joyce Banda will head Malawi's
delegation to the AU Summit. The point-of-contact upon arrival in
Egypt will be Principal Secretary M.B. (Ben) Mbewe, who can be
reached on 265-9-806-588. Malawi's delegation will arrive in Egypt
on June 26th and depart on July 2nd. Additionally, President Bingu
wa Mutharika will attend part of the summit, arriving on June 28.
The date of his departure has yet to be determined. Hon. Joyce
Banda will stay at the Maritim Golf Resort (+20 69 3603 200). The
rest of the delegation will stay at the Domina Prestige Coral Bay
(+20 69 3601 610).
