(U) On September 4, 2008, Mr. Mohammed Al-Muhanna, of the
Development and Quality Control Department of the Kuwait Public
Authority for Industry, faxed the Government of Kuwait's responses
to USG's on the Gulf Cooperation Council Conformity Assessment
Program. Post forwarded the responses by email to USTR official
Jason Buntin and NEA/ARP desk. Mr. Al-Muhanna confirmed he is
prepared to arrange a teleconference with the USTR during Kuwait
Ministry working hours which are 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during
Ramadan. Kuwait time is seven hours ahead of Washington, D.C. He
can be reached on [011]-965-530-2657 (office) or 965-9606205
(cellular).
