World Department Second Secretary Naif Al-Otaibi. Al-Otaibi
stated GOK support for Lebanese PM Fouad Siniora's government
and added that the GOK calls for an end to the fighting in
Lebanon and condemns Hizbollah's resort to violence and
continued Syrian interference. He also added that Kuwaiti
FM, Shaykh Dr. Mohammed Al Sabah, returned on May 11 from his
participation in a Cairo Arab League meeting, and would be
issuing forthwith an official statement on the matter.
