Al-Jarallah thanked CDA for the advance warning, but cautioned that this was a very sensitive issue for Kuwait. Al-Jarallah reiterated GOK requests for evidence against RIHS and UNSCR 1267-designated terrorist facilitators and noted that the GOK would face domestic opposition to RIHS,s UN designation. ¶2. (C) CDA also asked whether the GOK and the Central Bank of Kuwait had complied with UNSCR 1267 requirements and frozen the assets of other recently-designated Kuwaiti terrorist facilitators (Ref B). Jarallah asserted that the GOK had fully complied with its UNSCR 1267 obligations. ¶3.
