PARTICIPANTS
1. (U) Summary and Action Request: On February 20, post
received a circular from the Kuwait MFA requesting
information concerning the U.S. delegation attending the
April 22 Iraq Neighbors Conference in Kuwait. Specifically,
the MFA is requesting the names of the delegation members, as
well as the specifics of their travel arrangements. Post
requests that the Department provide this information for
relay to the MFA. End summary.
2. (U) Begin text of circular:
Complimentary opening
"With reference to the third Conference of Iraq Neighboring
Countries' Foreign Ministers, the Permanent Members of the
Security Council, and the Group of Eight Major Industrial
Countries, which Kuwait is hosting on 22 April 2008, please
provide us with details of the date of arrival and departure
of the head of the participant delegation and the names of
the accompanying delegation as soon as possible.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs avails itself of this
opportunity to express its consideration to the Embassy."
