European Department desk officer Fadhel Al-Hassan, and
followed-up on February 14 with European Department Deputy
Director Muteb AlMutoteh. According to Mutoteh, the GOK will
likely declare its support for Kosovo independence after
determining the level of support from the international
community. He added that an official statement of support
will likely be made within the first three to four days after
Kosovo's declaration.
