(U) This is an action request. See paragraph 3. ¶2. (U) On December 28, 2008, Embassy Kuwait received in Arabic an updated draft copyright law from the Kuwait Ministry of Information. Post emailed the draft to USTR and the desk. Mana Al-Baghdadi, an attorney at the Ministry of Information advised post that the updated version of the law reflects suggested changes discussed during her February consultations with officials at the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR). She said that the ministry welcomes any further amendments or changes USTR may have. ¶3. (U) Action Request.
