Heg for reasons 1.4 (b) & (d) ¶1. (S) The Inter-agency working group reviewed reftel and believes it to be a very thorough reporting directive. None of the reporting agencies identified in reftel had concerns about their ability to fulfill the directive's key subject areas as much of the information sought is collected during the normal course of business through a variety of collection methods. There was a concern expressed however that Post does not have the capacity to access much of the collected information as the read and burn system that was to be installed in late 2006 never arrived. Post requests reconsideration of installation of this equipment to facilitate a better use of the multitude of information that is being collected. JOHNSON
