(SBU) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) delivered to post
the original copy of the Instrument of Acceptance to become a
member state of the International Atomic Energy Agency
(IAEA),signed by then-Foreign Minister Sahana Pradhan on
November 29, 2007. Post has acknowledged receipt of the
Instrument of Acceptance via diplomatic note to the MFA and
is pouching the same to the Nepal desk. The MFA has
requested that the Department complete any actions necessary
to formalize Nepal's membership in the IAEA as soon as
possible.
