(SBU) On November 26, Emboff conveyed the U.S. appreciation
for Nepal's support of the 2008 UN General Assembly (UNGA)
resolution on compliance in the First Committee per reftel to
Rita Dhital, Section Officer for UN and International
Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Emboff
also provided as a non-paper the text of the resolution as
adopted on October 30 and requested continued support from
the Government of Nepal when the resolution comes up for a
vote in the UNGA plenary.
