1.(C) Political Counselor raised demarche points separately
with MFA Director General for Americas Khaled Zekria and MFA
Director General for United Nations Seddiq Rasuli. Each
promised Afghanistan would consider the United States,
request on the Iran, Burma and DPRK resolutions, but it had
made no final decisions.
2. (C) Zekria hinted that Afghanistan would likely align with
the United States again on the Burma and DPRK resolutions.
Neither Zekria nor Rasuli made any commitment on the Iran
resolution.
