(U) On July 17, POLOFF delivered reftel points and background
material to the Babar Amin, the Director of the Foreign
Secretary's Office, in preparation for the Pakistani
delegation's departure for the upcoming ASEAN Regional Forum
(ARF) in Singapore. The Pakistan delegation will be led by
Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir. Amin appreciated receiving
the materials and said the MFA would respond later to our
requests for feedback on the text of the Inter-Sessional
Meeting on Nonproliferation and the Counter-Terrorism and
Transnational Crime Workplan.
