(U) On May 28, POLOFF delivered a copy of the 2007 UN Voting
Report to Farhat Ayesha, the Assistant Director of the United
Nations I Desk at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and
conveyed that Pakistan's voting record at the UN is relevant
to its bilateral relationship with the USG, who desires
greater cooperation at the UN. Farhat agreed to pass the
record along throughout the Ministry and to retain a copy for
reference.
