(U) On May 28, Poloff followed up on reftel points delivered
to Farhat Ayesha, the Assistant Director of the United
Nations I Desk at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ayesha
told Poloff that neither she nor her delegation were prepared
to discuss the their position on the recommended reforms or
their willingness to join the USG position. She did assure
Poloff that if she received word on the matter, she would
pass it along.
