On April 2, Poloff followed up on previous conversations with
Zahid Jadoi, the UN Human Rights Desk Officer at the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs (MFA),to determine how Pakistan voted on
the extension of the mandate of the Special Rapporteur for
the DPRK. Zahid told Poloff that neither he nor his
delegation were prepared to share this information at this
time; however, once the voting results are released, he would
be glad to discuss the vote with Poloff.
