Viet took note of the U.S. position and assured POLOFF that the non-paper would be studied carefully. He emphasized the Vietnam takes seriously its responsibilities under the relevant UNSC resolutions and has always made timely reports to the 1737 Committee. He asked that the United States keep Vietnam informed of any further developments. MICHALAK
