(SBU) Post's response to reftel requesting information on the
attendance of host country government officials at the 63rd
UN General Assembly (UNGA) follows below:

Attendance of Head of State
-- Name and Title: Alvaro Colom, President of the Republic of
Guatemala
-- Arrival date to New York: September 22
-- Departure date from New York: September 26
-- President Colom will be present for part of the General
Debate
-- President Colom will not visit other U.S. locations during
this trip
-- There are currently no plans for President Colom's spouse
to travel to New York
-- Interpretation in Spanish would be required in a bilateral
or multilateral meeting

Attendance of Foreign Minister
-- Name and Title: Haroldo Rodas, Foreign Minister of the
Republic of Guatemala
-- Arrival date to New York: September 22
-- Departure date from New York: September 26
-- Foreign Minister Rodas will be present for part of the
General Debate
-- Foreign Minister Rodas will not visit other U.S. locations
during this trip
-- There are currently no plans for Foreign Minister Rodas's
wife to travel to New York
-- Interpretation would not be required in a bilateral or
multilateral meeting

Attendance of other VIPs
