Oliva stated that the GOG had not decided which candidate it would support as the IOM's new Director General. Pol/Econ Counselor also discussed Ambassador Swing's candidacy with Vice Foreign Minister Lars Pira. Pira commented that while he was aware the elections would be held on June 18, the GOG had not yet made a decision regarding the IOM DG candidacy. Derham
