Thank you very much for your letter of 9 July 2008 by which
you congratulate me on my appointment as Minister for
Defence, Justice and Security.
I would like to take this opportunity to also express my
appreciation for the cordial bonds of friendship and
excellent relations that exist between our two Governments,
people and armed forces.
I am equally committed to enhancing our relations even
