(SBU) On May 8, DCM met withwith Sierra Leone MFA Director General Ambassador Umaru Wurie to encourage Sierra Leone participation in the UNESCO Conference, and noted the particular interest in having Sierra Leone attend. DCM also shared a copy of the invitation letter from UNESCO Director General Koichiro Matsurra and provided the information on the Secretariat's focal person. ¶2. (SBU) Ambassador Wurie appreciated knowing about the conference and will notify the Ministery of Education, Youth and Sports about the invitation and ensure it was received.
