(C) Post delivered reftel demarche and copies of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1803 and P5 1 Foreign Ministers, statements March 6 to MFA, providing Qatar with information concerning obligations imposed on member states by UNSCR 1803, especially as it relates to the expansion of sanctions included in UNSCRs 1737 and 1747. Poloff followed-up March 10 with MFA International Organizations, Conferences and Treaties Department Counselor Mohammed Al-Dohaimi (protect),who had no substantive response. ¶2. (C) Post also conveyed reftel points to the Qatar Central Bank,s Deputy Governor and head of the Financial Information Unit, as well as the to the head of the Anti-MoneyLaundering/Terrorist Finance Committee.
