4, announcing the appointment of U.S. Special Envoy Sada
Cumber to the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC).
Poloff followed-up with MFA International Organizations,
Conferences and Treaties Department Counselor Mohammed
Al-Dohaimi (protect) March 10, who acknowledged MFA receipt
and also stated that Qatar,s Embassy in Dakar, Senegal, had
received a separate letter from Embassy Dakar seeking a
meeting between Special Envoy Cumber and the head of the
Qatari delegation during the OIC Ministerial Summit, to be
held in Dakar March 13-14. Al-Dohaimi said the Meeting
request had been passed to Minister of State for Foreign
Affairs Ahmed Al-Mahmoud, but was unaware of any response
from his office.
