demarche to Foreign Ministry Director General Americas and
Pacific Wing Shabbir Ahmed Chowdhury August 6. We noted the
urgency and importance of this issue and underscored
Bangladesh's obligations to comply with UN Security Council
Resolution 1718. Chowdhury was not aware of any pending
request for overflight by Air Koryo, but promised to follow
up with the relevant offices within the GOB.

agencies and report reactions septel.
