resolution on Somalia piracy to Government of Tanzania MFA
Foreign Service Officer Noel Kaganda on December 15. Kaganda
Said that, as recent news reports of piracy incidents off the
coast of Tanzania have shown, the GOT has a big interest in
this issue. He said that although Tanzania is not a member
of the UNSC, he anticipated the GOT would use its UNSC
contacts to express its interest in the USG draft resolution,
including the "important" issue of pursuit of pirates on
land.
