(C) Poloff delivered ref a demarche concerning UNGA voting on
Iran to MFA Foreign Service Officer Noel Kaganda on December
15. Kaganda did not commit on Tanzania's prospective vote.
However, he said that after the tough position Tanzania found
itself in when GOT Vice President Shein visited Iran during
the UN vote in 2007 (see ref B),the GOT had taken a more
neutral position on issues concerning Iran.
