(SBU) The Ambassador delivered reftel demarche to President Boni
Yayi on July 28, 2008. President Yayi re-affirmed that his position
was to support the AU position which calls for a negotiated
resolution of the crisis in Zimbabwe. Additionally, the Ambassador
also delivered the demarche to Euloge Hinvi, Deputy Secretary of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on July 25.
