The Honorable Barack Obama, the President-elect:

I am pleased to present the compliments of the National Assembly of
the Republic of Guinea on the occasion of your brilliant and
historic election to the highest office of the United States of
America.

I would like to thank the American people once again for
administering a lesson in democracy, tolerance and justice to the
rest of humanity.

Thanks also to your grandmother, whose vote paved the way for the
great outpouring of suffrage in your favor. May the AMERICA that she
loved and served grant her peaceful rest. Amen!
