1. On July 22, Econoff met with Karakomba Camara, Secretary
General of the Minister of Finance, to deliver reftel
demarche regarding the designation of additional Iranian
entities under E.O. 13382. Post provided Camara with
Department nonpaper, and will provide a French language
translation as resources allow.
2. In response, Mr. Camara expressed his thanks for the
information and stated Guinea's continued support for the
U.S. in the fight against terrorism. Any further substantive
comments or reactions will be reported septel.
